Often when you are in a gourmet restaurant, enjoy a fine meal served sweet ice is a pretty delicate. This particular version is a sweet Italian ice cream flavored with lemon and orange that tastes amazing background. The background shades are complemented by a large portion of Grand Marnier.
Orange and Lemon Ice an Italian treat easy to make a sweet, refreshing dessert after what can be served as hot in summerLunch or refined sweet voice with a delicious meal.
2 cups cold water
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
½ cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
6 tablespoons Grand Marnier
Boil water, sugar and lemon rind for 5 minutes. Fresh lemon juice and orange juice and mix well. Freeze for 1 hour and a half.
Remove from freezer and beat in 2 tablespoons of Grand Marnier. Return to freezer until ready to. Serve
To serve, scoop into glasses of chilled wine and 1 tablespoon of Grand Marnier to float on top.
For a higher gloss to try serving Orange and Lemon Ice in shiny silver cups. You can add a sprig of fresh mint at the edge of the glass added. The mint green branch will be a nice contrast with the ice.
