Everyone has heard of good ole 'American apple pie, pecan pie and Key Lime Pie, but the desserts are just the beginning, when the great desserts that American culture has to offer is. The desserts here are traditional American favorites, but rarely get the attention they deserve. So when they meet for a simple recipe that can be sweet and you're trying to cast your belly, I definitely recommend the following.Enjoy!
Mississippi Mud Pie
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
04:01 pound of melted butter ()
04:01 cup brown sugar
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon grated coconut
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 (9 oz) container whipped cream
1 (6 oz) pkg chocolate pudding
Directions:
In a mixing bowl and add the flour, butter, brown sugar, walnuts and coconut. If everything is well mixed, press into a 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.Remove crust from oven and set aside. Next, mix the cream cheese and sugar. It 'better if you can use a hand mixer for this, it is to be nice and fluffy. Fold in one cup of whipped cream. If the crust has cooled, the mixture of cream cheese spread over crust. Prepare the pudding according to package instructions. Spread pudding mixture over cream cheese, then top with remaining cream. This looks fabulous when decorated withchocolate chips or cherries. Send before serving in the refrigerator overnight.
Red Velvet Cake
Ingredients:
2 ounces red food coloring

The dough over the butter in the pan, then throw the peaches in a bowl with three tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Arrange the slices of fish to sit evenly on dough, then bake at 375 degrees C for about half an hour. Serve warm with cream or vanilla ice cream.
