3 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup white sugar
3 egg yolks
1 cup cake flour
1 teaspoon baking sodaPowder
4.1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 cups milk
3 egg whites
1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar
How-
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray the inside of a plate 9 inch deep pie plate with cooking spray.
Mix in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time, stirring until the dough is soft and airy. Sift salt, baking powder and cake flour and mix well. Add vanilla andMilk and mix until well blended. In a bowl beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold the egg whites into the batter. Divide the dough into pie plate and sprinkle the surface with cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 25 minutes then reduce temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Let the cake continue for another 25-30 minutes or until the middle of cooking is set when the pie is shaken gently.
Serve the tart hot or cold milk.
